Kathryn E. Lauterbach, Esq.

Kathryn E. Lauterbach is a partner at the Lauterbach Law Firm. She is admitted to the New York State Bar, Maryland State Bar, and Federal Court with the Southern District of New York and has been practicing law for over twenty years. Kathryn received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland with a major in Political Science and a minor in Spanish. She received her Juris Doctorate from Delaware Law School. During law school, Kathryn interned at the Delaware Law Clinic to represent economically disadvantaged clients under court supervision and was selected to intern at the National Academy of Sciences Committee on Human Rights in Washington, DC.

Before entering private practice, Kathryn practiced public interest law as a  lobbyist and Associate Legislative Director with the Eastern Paralyzed Veterans Association, advocating and analyzing legislative proposals before Congress in order to advance the rights of people with disabilities throughout the New York State under the Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”) as well as related state and local disabilities laws.

Joining her husband and law partner at the Lauterbach Law Firm, Kathryn brings her passion, dedication and experience to helping clients under the law. Kathryn advocates for clients and provides legal relief in practice areas that include Foreclosure Defense Law and Bankruptcy Law.
